I lost mine today and my friend is lending me hers. (Thank you Donna!)In case you are not familiar what Rose Colored God glasses are, they are the filter that God puts over our eyes that allows us to focus on him and not what the world floods us with.
It is reminds me of the shields on horses eyes. I learned to day they are called "blinkers" and are use for:
- Many racehorse trainers believe this keeps the horse focused on what is in front of him, encouraging him to pay attention to the race rather than other distractions, such as crowds.
- They are used on driving horses, to keep them from being distracted or spooked, especially on crowded city streets. A “set of winkers” can refer to the whole bridle, particularly the heavy bridle used on draft horses.
I really need to focus, be encouraged and not get spooked! Today I begin a new challenge that I have never faced. I have been overwhelmed and blindsided.
I am holding on tight to my friend's Rose Colored God Glasses until I can get mine back!
