How We Fall Back Into Old Habits

Why do we always fall back in to the same old patterns, when obviously they didn't serve us the first time? (Or the second, third...)

Last night after I kicked into - FIND A JOB MODE (One I my habits)

I failed to mention I did one more thing: I PRAYED

I didn't do it first, I fell into my pattern of just do it, BUT it is never to late to I change. As I stopped my FIND A JOB MODE to attend church I was reminded what I forgot!

Last night was Communion at our church. A very special night to remember, reflect and practice an act of joyful obedience - "And do this in remembrance of me"

Our church also offers elder prayer on these nights. This is an opportunity to follow another of God's guides to pray for and with each other. (James 5:13-16)


My prayer is simple:

Lord open the doors you want me to walk through and close the doors that will
tempt me to do my will and not yours.

I leave you with an opportunity to pray with God. Those that know me personally, understand my love of music, I have include some beautiful praise music from last nights service...
