Mt Jeez is OPEN!

Those of you that have been following my BLOG, know that last week we did not have the best luck reaching on of our favorite places, Mount Jeez Overlook.
ROAD CLOSED?

To those of you who are not familar with Mt. Jeez,

We gave it another try yesterday, and were blessed for our persistance.

We enjoyed the amazing view, but learned about the unseen also.

We met another group that frequented Mount Jeez, as we spoke, Steve noticed my son going to sit on the hill. He mentioned that he wished he had a camera.

As I videoed my son, Steve told me about his sister that had died of Cervical cancer. He explained that she loved the view here and that they had spread here ashes right where my son was sitting. Steve brought to my attention how the sun was shining on my son's head and it looked as if his head was glowing.

I need to tell you a little more to this story...my son, who is never still, found PEACE on the Mt. this day. Normally he runs up and down the hill an immediately wants to get in the car and go home. He was the last one we rounded up. He had made his way beside the cow pasture and was admiring to baby cows. PEACEFUL, CALM and QUIET.

That night I told my son about Steve and his sister and he said, "Mom, I felt something special when I sat down, now I know why."
