I am the person that would rather run a marathon and physically crash, then become mentally exhausted. When you run a marathon, you can sleep, hydrate, massage the muscles and go do it again.
Emotionally exhaustion doesn't seem to be as easy to bounce back from.
So...what did I do to feed my psyche today? I started reading "Put Your Dream To The Test" by John C. Maxwell, read my devotional: Let God’s Word Activate Your Faith
and listened to some great music. Texted and called a couple friends for a boost and gave myself grace that today would pass.
How do you rest your brain? What do you do when you don't feel like doing anything?
Accept that days like this are ok, maybe even needed, to teach us how to rebound emotionally!
