Purification Day 7-8-9-10-11-12 While My Family Survived The Flu


Do well people get sick? Uh yeah! Just usually not as often, for not as long and with less intense symptoms.

I remember the "Annual Family Flu Fest". Every year (even a couple times a year) the family would decide to support each other by getting the flu at the same time.

Moms out there know exactly what I am talking about...my head hurts, my stomach hurts...I think... I'm going to be....s-i-c-k! Make it to the BATHROOM PLEASE!

Last week it started with my youngest, hit my 8 year by Wednesday, 11 year and husband by Thursday...but interesting thing I missed it all ;0)

...and what my family did experience was so mild. Sore throat, low grade fever, mild headache. My little guy threw up twice. He quickly learned to spit not swallow. (Again moms get this). The rest of the clan took a wonderful whole food supplement that cleared things up in a day or two.

So do I think I avoided the "ick"? Water, Purification Whole Foods and the absence of sugar.

Sugar can cut your immunities in 1/2!

I was never so happy to be on my purification!

So, let me catch you up. I will post the daily journal entries below for those keeping track. I am also posting some pictures of my meals. It was easier to take a picture than write things down. I will also include the Peanut Butter Jammies I made for my family. (If you are on the cleanse now and feeling tempted...close your eyes!

The #1 "No No" that I did was stop eating. I was so busy that I did not have the supplies in the house that I needed and I was so busy caring for everyone else I didn't take care of myself by getting enough calories. WARNING: You will not lose weight if you do not eat calories. If your goal is to lose some weight on the purification, you must put fuel in the tank. I made this mistake in my first cleanse .

The new thing I added? EXERCISE! If you are used to an exercise regime there is no need to stop during the purification. In fact we have whey protein you can add to get up your energy. However, if you are not used to exercise, the suggestion would be that you focus on the purification and gradually has exercise in.

I cheated...You will see that I have been treating myself with dates (2). These ARE NOT on the cleanse. Not because dates are bad for you, but dried fruit is not on the cleanse because it traditionally is loaded with extra sugar.

Purification Day 7

148.3 56.1% water 6.4% bone 21.9 BMI 34.2 pounds of fat 22.1% fat

10:30 am One quarter sliced cucumber two carrots

12pm 1/4 banana

1 PM spinach salad apple cider vinegar and olive oil and sea salt

3pm SP shake - supplements

5:30pm baked Brussels sprouts with apple cider vinegar.

9pm SP Shake- supplements


Purification Day 8

8:45 SP shake whey protein & supplements

2pm SP shake + supplements 4pm 1/4 cucumber 5pm apple

6:30 pm Brussels sprouts half cup brown rice half baked sweet potato cinnamon

Treat: 2 dates

Waited too long for food - was not prepared for my schedule.

9:30p supplements no shake.

Added exercise. Walk around neighborhood 20 min.


Purification Day 9

Been really bad today had an apple at 10 o'clock with water

1230 just took supplements which are now changing from the cleanse to the green food had another 12 ounces of water quarter of a cucumber and half apple to eat.

1pm One half sweet potato kale chips

3pm apple

5pm 2 dates , Brown Rice and a bundle asparagus

9 Sp shake and supplements

Walked 20 min


Purification Day 10

9 AM SP shake and supplements

2 PM eggplant squash cauliflower bake

4 PM Apple

6 o'clock apple, pepper sticks

7 o'clock green tea

8:30 PM SP shake added whey protein

Did not hit watermark :0(

Walked 20 min.

Purification Day 11 - Time to reintroduce chicken and fish!

8:30 AM strawberry banana SP shake with supplements

9:30 AM half sweet potato one pat butter

1pm Romain chicken wraps with salsa and roasted peppers

3pm peppermint tea two dates

4pm supplements

5:30 pm salmon broccoli with lemon and butter

9:30 pm SP shake with supplement

Felt bloated and tired... Could actually see my abdomen enlarge like you do when babies eat...might have a sensitivity I need to watch.

Walked 20 min.


Purification day 12

146.5 pounds 22.7% fat 33.2 pounds fat 56.4% water 6.4 bone 21.6 Bmi

8:45 AM SP shake and supplements

10am green tea

12:30 PM salad with carrots broccoli cucumber apple cider vinegar dressing 4 orange segments

4pm leftover broccoli

7pm salmon, kale, sweet potato. Small romaine salad with peppers and cucumbers, apple-cider vinaigrette.

9:00 pm shake and supplements
